CHLOROPLAST

The chloroplast is only found in plant cells. The chloroplast contains chlorophyll which is the ingredient needed to capture the solar energy required for photosynthesis.
The process of photosynthesis looks like this: 6CO2+6H2O+light ----> C6H12O6+6O2 and here is a picture to give you a visual. In the process of photosynthesis the energy from the sun (solar energy) is converted into chemical energy. The chemical energy is stored in the form of glucose which is then converted into ATP.
